DOV RAISIN TRELLIS SYSTEM | AGROW METALS ™
The most popular trellis systems in DOV ( Dry-on-vine) raisin vineyards are Overhead arbor and open gable trellis system. The overhead arbor has a greater yield potential than the Open Gable Trellis System, while Open Gable Trellis System costs lower in materials and installation labors, and due to the open design, the Open Gable Trellis System works better with high profile farming and harvest equipment.
The original Open Gable DOV trellis system includes steel posts topped at 4.5ft with 6ft wide V-shaped cross arm assemblies supporting 6 fruiting wires, 3 wires on each side.
