How To Choose Fruit Bags

The high-quality fruit protection bags should have good sun, bacterial, insect, wind resistance and good hydrophobicity. In addition, the paper bags are not easily deformed, damaged and dewaxed. 

Preparation Before Bagging

1. Spray

Before bagging, thoroughly spray sterilization and insecticide on the fruit surface. Bagging can be done after the liquid medicine is dried. If the bagging is not completed in rainy days or within 5 days after spraying, the fruit should be sprayed once again before bagging.

2. Tide Bag

Fruit bags are usually made from harder paper with better texture, "tide bags" should be carried out 1 to 2 days before bagging. The mouth of the bag should be deeper into the water, wrapped with plastic before use.

 

The Time Of Bagging

1. Bagging Time

Bagging can be done after thinning the fruit. It should start within 20 days after the flower fades and end within 45 days after the flower fades. The sooner the better.

 

2. Bagging Method

Generally, the fruits on the upper part of the canopy are set first, and then the lower part of the crown are set. When start to bag, first reach into the bag to swell the bag body, hold the fruit handle with one hand and hold the bottom of the bag with the other hand, put the young fruit into the bag, squeeze the bag mouth from both sides to the middle of the fruit handle, and then reverse the steel wire at around 180°, twisted and tied tightly on the fruit stalk or branch. After covering, lift the bottom of the bag with your hands to expand the whole bag, open the water outlets at the two bottom corners, and hang the young fruit in the bag.

3. Remove The Bag

Green and brown pear varieties can be picked in bags. The paper bags should be removed 10-25 days before harvest. You can remove the outer bag first. Remove the inner bag together with the binding wire.
