The open gable trellis system is initially designed for expansive canopies of table grape varieties, and also can be modified for production of DOV( Dried On the Vine) raisin production.Our Protec+ Open Gable Trellis System replicates the most popular versions in the market and combined all the advantages tested by time, while allows adding up our patented Protec+ system for rain protection.
The open-gable is a Y-shaped trellis similar to that used for table-gable production.A full kit of Open Gable System generally includes Central Kit and End kit are mainly composed by Y shaped crossarms of left,right and horizontal.The central kits are installed as supports for wires training the canes and lance,slash and holes are generally punched to attach trellis wire,and some are couples with droppers for wire extending when it is needed.
